Performance Support System


The loan department of a major international bank maintained support information in the form of brochures, memos, and online material on five different websites. An internal study uncovered that staff were unable to locate key resources when they needed them and that the available resources did not completely satisfy their needs.


To address these concerns, ILS performed a broad view analysis of key audiences, their information and learning needs, and the available support resources, both hard copy and online. ILS then designed a performance support system for delivering role-specific information in a way that allows staff to access the resources they need to perform specific tasks throughout the year. The intuitive interface supports the addition of roles, tasks and content as required by the department.
